New to Tour (Scene 12)Practice *Updated*

Practice this morning was absolutely brutal, especially since I really didn't get that much sleep last night. This morning I barely had enough energy to put some eyeliner on, throw my hair back, get dressed, and grab my sunglasses. I fell asleep in the vans that were transporting us to and from practice, (due to the possibility of screaming fangirls for Panic) so when they opened the door for me, I fell out -face first- landing me a "beautiful" bleeding scrape across my right cheekbone.

"Holy shit! Nayra, are you alright?" I heard Adam say as everyone rushed to help me up.

"I'm fine. It woke me up." I said, laughing at myself and wiping a bit of blood from my face. "Band-aid anyone?"

"Here, let me help you." Brendon said, taking my hand that also seemed to be bleeding. I didn't realize just how hard I had fallen. We walked into the arena and onto the front of the stage, Brendon holding a first aid kit. "Alright. Let's see the damage." He said, gingerly touching my cheek and brushing the hair out of my face.

"It doesn't feel like it's really deep. And my hand isn't too bad either." I said, wincing a bit. It may not be deep, but it still stings. I looked at my hand, which really only had a few little scrapes.

"You better be careful next time, they might think you are Lindsay Lohan." Brendon said and he started to clean the blood off my face, making me laugh and almost fall off the end of the stage.

"Woah! Haha. Alright. I think It's time that I just walk around with a harzard sign around my neck."

"Perhaps." He said, now searching for a small band-aid and putting it on my face, then starting on my hand.

"I can get this if you want to get back to the guys." I said, finally making eye contact with him. He smiled at me.

"Nah, it's fine. This doesn't seem too bad either. Did you get any sleep last night?" He asked, gently cleaning the blood.

"A little bit. That's kinda the reason I was sleeping on the van. What? I got excited about today." I said as Brendon gave me a look.

"Well, I'm glad you were excited about today, but next time, don't sleep on the door, yeah?" He said, nudging me a bit.

Once my little clumsy moment was over, the rest of the time seemed alright. Our setup was pretty awesome actually. Our guitars had been set on their stands next to the white x's that was our blocking, our drums set up in the back. It was at that moment that I really saw the reality of this situation. That we really were going to go on tour with my favorite band, and I wasn't going to wake up this time.

"Told you it would hit." Brendon said as the rest of my band started to walk onstage before walking to the front out into the seats to watch.

"You guys ready?" I said as I grabbed the microphone, ready to rock out.

30 MINUTES LATER
"Alright guys. Let's take a break." I said, my throat a bit sore with dehydration.

"You guys are doing awesome!" Ryan said, walking towards us while we all dramatically fell to the floor, with Brendon following behind.

"Thanks." I said, taking a large swig of water from my waterbottle.

"Does this mean it's our turn?" Spencer said, walking with Jon to the front of the stage where we were all lying.

"Yeah, but I don't think we need to start right now. Maybe... five minutes?" Ryan said, looking at Brendon then down at me. I knew exactly what he thought was going to happen, although I wasn't going to let it actually happen. The rest of Stand Tall stood up and walked backstage to get water as Brendon helped me up.

"Wanna make out?" Brendon said, smiling at me.

"Wow. You're... amazing." I said, gently pushing him, then walking towards the middle of the stage. He simply put his arms around me.

"Now then, what are we going to do first at Disneyland? I personally want to go check out some of the Nightmare Before Christmas stuff." Brendon said, whispering it into my ear.

"That's sounds cool to me. Just, not It's a small world first. Please." I said, teasingly, leaning my head back onto his shoulder. It was in that serene moment that I saw two fangirls glaring at me behind one of the farther rows of seats in the arena. I gently unfolded myself from Brendon's arms and walked off stage towards them, a friendly smile on my face.

"Dude, run!" I heard one of them whisper to the other, a short blonde girl with light blue tips and big blue eyes. Her friend that warned her was apparently the complete opposite, with jet black and bright red hair and brown eyes.

"Hey, it's cool for now. How did you guys get in here?" I said to them as I finally came face foward with them. They seemed no older than 15. "And aren't you supposed to be in class or something?"

"Aren't you?" The blonde girl asked me, still scowling.

"Not really. I just finished practicing thank you very much. Besides, you didn't answer my question. How did you guys get in here? There are at least 20 guards outside." I said, crossing my arms now. My mean mommy stare that I only used on Odessa.

"Dude, don't talk to her like that! That's Nayra! From Stand Tall!" The other one said, now apparently a bit star-struck. "I'm sorry about my friend, and for crashing your rehearsal. We heard you were here, and we so we came in through the bathroom windows. Can we please listen to you guys? You and Panic? "

I frowned a bit, but let my arms fall. "Let me ask. I'm new at this ya know." I said, walking back towards the stage, them trying to follow. "Stay here." I said turning back towards them then walking to Brendon. "Hey, I need to talk to you and Ryan about these girls."

"Alright. What's up though?" Brendon said, leading me towards Ryan, a distinct cry of glee coming from the two girls at the fact that their asses weren't already thrown out the door. "Ry! Nayra needs to talk to us about some girls that snuck in."

"Throw them out." Ryan said, before turning away.

"I don't want to be rude or anything, but isn't that a bit harsh? They really want to hear us practice. But then again, I don't know proper bigconcertrehearsal ettiquite." I said, turning to look at the girls, one of them still scowling, the other looking pitifully hopeful. "Just look at them. Well not the blonde one, she's being a bit rude, but the other. They skipped class and risked breaking a bone AND jail just to hear us, or meet us, or something like that."

Ryan thought about it for a minute. "Fine. But one song. I think you guys should practice that duet for When the Day." He said, looking at me and Brendon, with me feeling a bit confused. I could've sworn that he was kidding that night, but apparently I was suprisingly mistaken.

"Alright. Let me go tell them." I said, trying to stay a bit calm. Afterall, I did just win a discussion with Ryan and I made some fangirls happy. I walked back to them, trying to act solemn.

"Is it alright?" The Red and Black head girl asked.

"It's alright. On one condition though." I said, trying to seem a bit more grown up. It was harder because of the mere fact that these girls were only a few years younger.

"And what's that?" The Blonde girl said, now seeming a bit nicer, but I could still see a glare in her eyes.

"First, after this, you let me personally drive you to back to school where you will stay for the remainder of the day. Two. it's only one song, but don't worry, you will like it. And Three. Lil' miss blondie? You have to lose that scowl on your face. I didn't do anything to you, and I really don't appreciate being judged right off the bat." I said, smiling now. Both the girls nodded happily, the glare now gone.  "Ok, sit down and enjoy. It's going to be a bit loud." I added before walking back up to the stage.
AFTER THE SONG!!!

"That was, amazing! Who did the harmony and duet parts?" The blonde girl asked excitedly, both of them having ran up onstage afterwards.

"Actually, Nayra did." Ryan said, making me blush a little.

"Well that was amazing!" Black and Red girl said, jumping for joy apparently.

"Alright. A deal's a deal. Time to go back to class." I said as I put the microphone back on the stand.

"Please, can we at least meet the rest of Stand Tall?" Black and Red girl asked, pouting her lips. I grabbed my phone out of my back pocket to check the time.

"When's your next class?" I asked them, seeing that it was 10:02 am

"Eleven. At least, that's when the final bell rings." The blonde girl replied truthfully.

"Ok. For a minute. What are you guys' names anyway?" I asked as we all (including Panic) walked to the green room.

"I'm Nancy and this is Jenna." Black and Red girl answered.

"Nice to meet you both. Although you know that you could've waited until tonight, right?" I said, laughing a bit. Upon walking to the door, I knocked softly. "Hey, are you alive in there? Or Decent at least?"

"Come in Nayra." Adam said from the other side, laughing at me.

"Hey guys, I want you to meet Nancy and Jenna. They snuck in." I said as the rest of Stand Tall walked towards them.

"Nice to meet you both." They all said, smiling. I let them have a small conversation with the two bands before cutting in.

"Alright girls. It's time to go back. You will have at least 10 minutes to get to class, alright? Wait for me outside the door. And don't try to run off so you can play hookie, or stay longer. Zack's outside." I said as they both walked dejectedly through the door to a now stern looking Zack, who would no doubt give them the fangirl speech. "Hey, I'm going to take them, I promised I would." I said to the group while I grabbed keys to one of the vans and my flared out sunglasses

"Alright. Hey, I'll go with you. That way if they try to kidnap us, then one of us can at least help the other one out." Brendon said, grabbing a pair of sunglasses and putting the hood of his purple hoodie up.

"Ok. " I said, walking out the green room towards them. We led them both to the van, where Brendon started the car and drove off. "What school do you guys go to?"

" Anaheim High." Jenna said quietly, obviously staring at Brendon. He made a random face at them from the rear view mirror. I took my phone out and dialed information.

"City and State Please." The automated voice asked.

    "Anaheim, California."

"How may I help you in Anaheim?" A woman asked, seeming a bit put off.

"I'd like the number for Anaheim High School please, and the adress if I can get it from you." I said politely.

"Thank you. If you would like a text sent of this number, please press one now. Thank you, a text has been sent, and your call is now being connected." It said quickly as I waited for the secretary to pick up.

"What are you guys' full names?" I asked, looking at them. They now looked extremely guilty. "I'm sorry guys, but as sweet as it was for you guys to come, it was still against school rules and the law..."

"Nancy McArthur and Jennifer Rose." Jenna said, now looking at the floorboard.

"Anaheim High School, how may I help you?" The receptionist asked politely.

"Hi. I needed to get the directions to your school from the highway, if possible."
                                                                            * * *
It didn't take long to get to Anaheim High, and the look on the girls' faces echoed that. I didn't want them to get in trouble, really! But somehow I knew that if they didn't, they'd be back with friends next time.

"Brendon, what should we do about the Skippy McSkippertons?" I asked quietly. The roar of the pavement being crushed by the wheels made it virtually impossible to hear anything going on in the front seat. Brendon smiled at their new name.

"I don't know. I've never personally delivered someone back to class before."

"Um, Nayra?" Jenna timidly asked, scaring me due to the silence from the back that had now been broken. "Can I ask you something?"

"Sure, what's on your mind?" I said a little louder.

"Are you and Brendon going out?" She asked, quite quickly, as though I was going to suddenly throw them out of the car for asking. I just about lost it nonetheless. Not because I was angry, but because I was caught a bit off guard. Was it really that obvious?

"What makes you say that?" I said, smiling in a 'wtf?!' kind of way.

"Oh come on. You guys were totally all over eachother today." Nancy replied, seeming to get her nerve back from earlier today. So that's why she hates me. I looked at Brendon who was just about to the point of bursting out laughing. I prepared myself for the answer to that question, trying to make sure they saw the 'truly we are just friends' look, and not the 'oh shit, well it's a long story, but in a sort of we are taking it slow but we like to make out kind of way, yes' look.

"No, we are just friends. But she is pretty hot." He replied as we pulled up to the front office. Both of them sighed in instant relief, but which was then replaced with a look of dread as they saw where we were.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm back! lol So I really enjoyed writing this scene, even though it took me like.. a week or two to FINALLY finish it. And yes I added more, only because the rest didn't seem like one scene on it's own. So, what do you think Nayra should do about Skippy McSkippertons over there? Should they be let off the hook? Leave a comment!

New to the Tour (Scene 11) *Updated!!!*

(Brendon: Hotel Room)
I closed my phone and tried to act like nothing was up, although Ryan apparently knew that I was lying.

"We just got here. Can't you two wait a little while?" Ryan said, laughing and nudging me with his elbow.

"What are you talking about? I'm going to get ice." I said, grabbing the ice bucket from the sink. Ryan dove onto the closest bed, sighing happily. " I see you didn't get any sleep either."

"So that's where her hickey came from." Ryan said, sitting up.

"What hickey?" I said, trying to get away faster.

"Dude, it looks like a grampire got her. Seriously, if you don't want anyone to know about it then be more careful next time. Now please, go get her.. I mean the 'ice'" He said, laughing then grabbing his suitcase to lay his clothes out for tomorrow. I walked out of the hotel room laughing a bit, the ice bucket still in my hand. When I walked to the elevator, I couldn't help but think about what I was doing with Nayra. Yeah this was really fun, but are we going too fast? I haven't been in a relationship in a while, and so far this one is a bit physical. Perhaps, for the sake of the tour... no. This should be about having fun, not settling down and having children. So when I saw Nayra, her hair down and hiding the evidence and an ice bucket in her hand, I smiled a bit with the guilt seeping through a bit.

"Hey you. Why do you look guilty?" She said, hugging me again.

"Oh nothing. Ryan knows." I replied

"Oh. Ok. How did he get it out of you?" Nayra asked as we walked to get ice.

"Well, apparently because of those." I said quietly as I lifted her hair a bit.

"I see. Well don't worry. I know the perfect remedy for these, so no one other than the group will really have to know about this." She added a bit quickly.

"Ok. I'm not worried about it, but I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression of you." I replied, walking a with a bit of distance between us. "Hey about the bus-"

"We were going too fast." She said before I could find the words. "Seriously, I mean... it was really fun and  I liked it, but I did just meet you."

"I totally agree. Slower." I said, hoping that the tone in my voice wasn't sounding as though I hated it. We reached the snack room with the ice machine within a few mintutes, having remained silent since then.

(Nayra's Perspective)

'I don't know what to say to him!' I shouted in my head a hundred times as we walked on. It's not like I thought that he was going to say "No! We aren't going to fast! This is an awesome pace!" or "Well actually, that was a one time deal. You're funny looking." But at the same time, it was hard not to wonder if he was actually hurt that I wanted to take things slow. It really sucked because Adam's voice kept popping into my head, "People will think you're sleeping your way to the top". Why couldn't this be a little bit easier. As we got to the small room, there was a noticable uncomfortable feeling between us. Think Nayra! Think! How can you break this?!
So I kissed his cheek, whispering in his ear. "Tag. You're it." Before walking out, smiling.

"You better run." He said, coming out and seeing me. I started to walk a little faster, only because I felt like if I ran, I'd get kicked out. 'Damn my parents teachings!' I thought as I looked behind me, seeing Brendon coming a bit closer. Now breaking into a run, I sped towards the elevator, although it was already at the top floor: too slow. So in retaliation, I ran to the stairs with Brendon following me. Within two seconds he caught up with me on the fifth flight of stairs, both of us laughing.

"Damn, I thought, I could make it, at least to the sixth floor!" I said, leaning against the small wall on the fifth landing. Brendon placed his hands on the wall behind me, almost trapping me in his arms.

"You should, have taken the, elevator." He said between breaths.

"It was too slow." I said, finally catching my breath, momentarily. Up until that moment I had been looking at the floor, and now that we had locked eyes, my heart started pounding.

"Hm... well I guess you shouldn't have kissed me." He teased, smiling.

"And why is that?" I said, trying to play innocent.

"Payback." He said, leaning into me. This kiss seemed a bit more forceful, but it could have been because we had just ran five flights of stairs like idiots. When we pulled apart, the bright lights of the stairwell showing my bright pink cheeks. "Too fast?" He said, pulling away.

"Yes. I mean no! I mean.. it's fine. There's nothing wrong with a little making out." I said, once again breathless.

"Alright then. Shall we go back for our ice buckets?" He said, ushering me to the door leading to the hallway.

"Haha, oh yeah. That's what we came for." I said, laughing as we walked to the elevator.  We grabbed the ice buckets (which seemed to have stayed in the same spot), filled them, and went back to the elevator, now too tired to even think about the stairs.

"Well, I better let you get some sleep. You guys are going to need it, especially you." Brendon said before looking over his shoulder, kissing me quickly, then humming the theme to mission impossible while scaling the wall to his room. I stood there giggling at my doorway.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK! so I said that I was going to work on some of the past ones.. well I think that this is about the point where it starts sucking. :) so therefore.... why not start here? So tell me what you think so far!
Ooh! and here's a bit of the reason why I'm changing it:

So I realized why I'm having a writer's block.. not only am I trying to get em' done at least one a day... but I'm trying to rush the "relationship" between Nayra and Brendon.. and that wasn't really supposed to be the focus of the story. Actually it was supposed to be about how he was sorta helping her along with their first tour.. then somwhere along the way they got together.

Hey guys! Guess what?? I UPDATED! Yup. It's true! And I think that I have new ideas for it... which means I can write again. Hopefully. But I'm not going to be updating every day (Or possibly even every week). I'm only going to be updating when I get a really super duper cool idea for it. :) So keep reading and telling your friends!

Also, if any of you have suggestions of what should be in here, if any of the characters seem lame, any input at all, don't hesitate to tell me about it.

New to the Tour (Scene 10)

We pulled into the first hotel around 4 or so in the morning, of which I had to say goodbye to Brendon for a bit, at least in person. "We'll talk later doll face." Brendon said, now knowing how it makes me react.

"Jerk." I said, teasingly as he grabbed my hand, swung me toward him, and dipped me so we could kiss. "Ok. Not a jerk." I said as he lifted me back up, laughing.

"So, should we tell them that their plan worked?" He asked as I started gathering things from the bus and turning off TV.

"Oh hell no. I'd never hear the end of it from Odessa."

"True. Alright, so we won't tell them. But that means you have to keep your soft sweet lips off of me, alright?" He said, getting dangerously close to my face, again. Ben saved me this time.

"Alright children. Keep it in your pants." Ben said as he walked off the bus with his pillow and music player in his hands.

"Nayra, can I have a word with you really quick?" Adam said as he came from behind the screen.

"Sure. Text me later? But only if you are already up." I said as Brendon nodded and walked off the bus. "What's up?"

"I just want you to know that I think Brendon is a cool dude, but you need to be careful with that, alright?" He said, a serious look on his face. The face Dad makes when we screw up. Oh how I hate it when he pulls it on me.

"And why is that dad?" I said, hoping he heard the sarcasm in my voice.

"Well not only is he older than you-"

"A year. Big woop." I said, rolling my eyes.

"But," he said, ignoring my comment. "he is also the lead singer of the band we are touring with. You don't want to earn the reputation for sleeping with people to get to the top."

"It's not like that, and I really don't want to have this conversation with my brother. But let's talk about this later, ok? I'm really tired, and Odessa won't shut up until I've spilled everything." I said, walking off the bus with my bags, Adam following.
Odessa and Ryan seemed to be in deep conversation as we walked up to them and the rest of Panic. I smiled at Brendon as we all walked in. Even more than the other, this hotel was almost literally sparkling, including the amazing fountain in the middle of the lobby, a beautiful yet naked statue of a mermaid combing her hair sitting in the middle of it, looking as though she was sitting in the pool of a waterfall.

"Welcome to Embassy Suites. We hope your stay is enjoyable." A small weasle-type of man said as we went to the front desk.

"Yes, so do we. Are our rooms ready for Panic and Stand Tall?" Ryan said, smiling at him, but obviously tired.

"Yes sir. Your keys." He said, passing him four room cards. Within a minute, a bellhop had taken our luggage up to the rooms on the top floor before we could even get up there. As we walked past the desk, the weasle man gave me and Odessa a wink. I rolled my eyes and walked faster.

"Alright. So me and Bden will be in 512. Jon, Spencer, you guys are in 513. Odessa and Nayra, you are in 511, and Adam and Ben are in 510, ok?" Ryan said, passing the cards to us as we ran to the rooms themselves. Inside our room were two queen sized beds, complete with extremely comfortable sheets and blankets, and all the essentials needed for a rocker's night sleep. I set my stuff down on the bed closest to the window before grabbing my phone as it informed me I had a text.

"Ooh! Are you two lovebirds already starting the text game?" Odessa said, grabbing at my phone.

"Dude, what are you talking about? We didn't hit it off, ok?" I said, trying to play it off. It seemed to work... for a moment.

"Really? I could've sworn-" She said, then stopped midsentence, then quickly grabbed my arm.

    "Ow! What the hell?!"

"You didn't hit it off eh? Then how did you get that hickey?" She said, pulling my hair away from my neck.

"What hickey?" I asked, honestly. I didn't think Brendon had given me one. Oops.

"Oh, not just one. Like three." She said, pointing them out.

"It's not a hickey. I fell a couple of times on the bus bus serfing." I said, laughing.

"Right. I know you're clumsy, but not that clumsy. Those are bonafide hickeys dear, and I highly doubt that Ben gave them to you." She said before I could interject again.

"Fine! We hit it off! But I really didn't know I had these. Just, don't tell Ryan. Seriously. I know you guys were in on this together." I said, opening my phone to reply to Ryan's text
(( guide to the texts : *-Nayra to Brendon, *-Nayra to Ryan, **Ryan, Brendon))

** 'How do you like the room?'

Hey guys! Sorry this one took forever. This is the last (sort of) of what I had written out that week I was gone! So now I get to be super creative and make another soon. But I am going to school, so it might be a while. :)

New To The Tour (Scene 9)

By the time we got to the rest stop, the sun was starting to set. I hadn't realized just how far away Anaheim was, until now. I got off the bus to stretch as Brendon walked over to me, Ryan close behind him, smiling. I was almost knocked over by Odessa as she ran off the bus.

"See ya tomorrow Nayra!" Odessa yelled as she ran to Panic's bus.

"Well hello there doll face." Brendon teased, using his "jazzy gansta" voice, a box of Capri Suns in one hand, his pillow in another. His few words almost made me lose my cool, but I stood firm. It also helped that Ryan couldn't stop laughing at my shirt.

"Hahahahahahahahaha! I thought Bden was kidding!!" He said, starting to calm down a bit.

"Um. No comment." I said, mostly for a lack of comeback. " So just let me know if Odessa bugs you guys."

"Same when that one." Ryan said, teasingly.

"I heard that." Brendon said as he walked onto the bus. I waved as Ryan and I went our separate ways, and went back onto the bus. The boys had closed the screen between us, and had written a sign: NO ROCKIN THE BUS.

"Odessa." I said, under my breath.

"Her too?" Brendon said, settling in as the bus started to move again.

"Ryan?" I said, sitting on the floor across from him for the moment.

    "Yup."

"Figures." I said, shrugging it off.

"So what would you like to do? I hate sleeping on busses." He said, offering me one of his precious drinks; I accepted.

"Well, if you're not sick of it by now, we could watch Nightmare Before Christmas." I said, crawling to the movie cabinet. A certain set of lyrics came to mind from RENT, but I chose not to sing them outloud.

"That's cool with me." He replied. I started the movie, thanking all that was holy that there was a remote. He smoothly gestured for me to sit next to him as the movie started. We stayed semi- close to eachother as the movie began, but around the time of the forest, I felt his arm above my seat, which slowly went to my shoulder. I schooched over a bit, but I still wasn't sure if this was an accident.

Apparently it wasn't as he smiled and pulled me closer.

"Ooh! This is one of my favorite songs!" I said, turning towards him and not realizing his face was inches from mine. He smiled at me, leaning a bit closer. I started to close my eyes in anticipation...

"No rockin' the bus Nayra!" Ben said, which was quickly followed by an "Ow!!" from an apparent arm slap from Adam. We laughed and pulled our faces away, but not our bodies. We went through about half of the movie like this, until it seemed our eyes finally met. By that time it seemed that we couldn't resist it any longer.

I couldn't believe that he was actually going in for the kill, but as he smiled at me, his lips met mine. Not even a few moments later ( or so it seemed) I felt his lips form a smile as he parted my lips with his strong tongue. I pulled him closer to me as we played this interesting and spontanious game of wrestling tongues, my arm going around his neck. Brendon's hand went into my hair as we continued, his fingers running through it. We stayed in this position until we both had to come up for air. I opened my eyes to see him smiling at me. I blushed.

"I'm sorry." I said, lowering my arm and looking down into my hands. He took the one that was formerly resting on his neck and interwove his hand in it.

"Don't be." He said, kissing my hand, as though we were in some Romeo and Juliet balcony scene. My breath seemed to quickly become sparce as he did this. He went in for another, but I moved my head. He laughed and started kissing my neck as I giggled.
(Behind the Screen, Adam)
"Aw man, you can hear them! That's nasty!" Ben whispered as he started to put his headphones on.

"Just listen to your music." I said, following suit.
