New To The Tour (Scene 8) Day Of Tour!

"Guys! The bus is here! Let's go!" I yelled happily as I shoved one of my bags out the door. It was quite hilarious that I was not only the first one up, but the most excited to be on tour. But the best part about starting your first tour with a bunch of guys was-

"Here. Let me help you." Brendon said, grabbing one of two bags with my clothes. Today seemed to be a purple hoodie day.

"Thanks." I replied as we walked out my door to the elevator.

"Are you alright? You're shaking." He asked as I tried to press the lobby button.

"Yeah. Just butterflies." I replies, and left it at that. No need to tell him the realy top 10 reasons I had butterflies. With that happy note, we walked out to the bus, and I gasped.

    "What? Is something wrong?"

"It's... so... beautiful!" I said, then turned my head to him as he laughed at me. " Ok. It still hasn't hit me yet."

"Oh, it will. Wait until the hotel rooms." He said, lifting my bad into the hands of the waiting bus driver. I followed suit.

"Thanks. I better, go, yell at the others." I said, studderring a bit as I walked back to the elevator. Within a few minutes, I had rounded up the group and helped pile their crap into the bus, including equipment. I adjusted my Panic at The Disco band tee over my jeans as we finished and were walking on the bus. Brendon had already seen it and laughed. Twice. The inside of the bus was actually pretty simple, but amazingn and roomy. There were two actual sides to the bus, clearly boys vs. girls, with a curtain to hide each side (thanks Pete!) on both sides there was a T.V. complete with a DVD and VCR player ( by request. Pete laughed at me when I said it, so I thought it was a no go.) There was a small fridge on our side, and a bathroom on their side. Our bus driver, Sam, was extremely sweet, but really quiet. As Brendon walked on the bus, I lost all dignity.

"This is AWESOME!" I said, hugging him, but then re-thinking it. He laughed.

"Don't thank me. Thank Pete." He said as he settled into the couch on the "girls" side. Panic's bus was still at the hotel, and apparently Brendon lost the wrestling match, making him the official helper of our band for the time being. I took my phone out and dialed it.

"This is Pete." the voice on the other side said.

"Hi Mr. Wentz. This is Nayra." I said, feeling a bit odd (Brendon's laugh not making it any better.) It's hard to act normal when you've spent a great deal of your teenage life listening to Panic at The Disco and Fall Out Boy.

"Nayra. I told you you can call me Pete. It's really fine."

"Sorry, Pete. I just wanted to thank you for everything."

"No prob. I'm glad you guys like it. Well I gotta let you go, Ashlee's on the other line. Bye" He said with a click. I closed the phone and put it back in my pocket. That was about the time that we pulled into the parking lot of the hotel.

"Text me." Brendon said as he walked off the bus and into his. Not even a minute after we were on the road, Odessa jumped into the seat next to me.

"So, when's the wedding?" She asked. I threw a pillow at her.

"Well, what's the scoop? Does he like you? Does he not? Tell me tell me tell me tell me tell me!" Odessa droned on.

"Ok! Ok! There's no scoop Ms. Enquirer. Other than he's a nerd. Besides, I don't know him that well." I replied. My phone went off, showing a message from Brendon.

'Save me! they drank all the Red Bull :( '

"Him?" Odessa said. "I'll leave you two love birds alone." She said, walking off.
(( guide to the texts : *-Nayra to Brendon, *-Nayra to Ryan, **Ryan, Brendon))
   * ' Aw. I'm sorry.'
'Wait! Ryan hid the last one!'
* ' Tell him to take you to it or else.'
' haha. Alright.'
** ' Hey Nayra. This is Ryan. I just thought that I'd fill you in on Brendon's caffiene problem. He goes absolutely insane when he drinks it.'
*' lol alright.'
** ' So, next stop we're hiding it in your bus.'
* ' Why?'
** ' Because it will torture him. and it's funny.'
'Is Ryan texting you?'
I laughed. *'Yes. He is.'
(To Ryan) *' Aw. Poor thing. I say that he should have it. It can't be that bad.'
** ' Have you seen the Gremlins?'
* ' Yes.'
** ' He's like that. But if you really think he should have one, he has to be on your bus.'
'He's telling you where it is, huh.'
* ' No. But I'm negotiating. lol'
(To Ryan) * ' Ok. But you have to take one of mine on sugar.'
**' lol Deal.'
'Yay! Red Bull!'
(To Ryan) *' Ok. Next stop.'
** ' Ok. gotta go tackle Jon. Bye.'
(to Brendon) * ' Ok. You can have it, but he says you have to be on my bus.'
'Ok. But fyi I'm not really that bad.'
* ' I'll believe you.
I put my phone down.

"Hey, who wants to hang out of Panic's bus?" I said to the rest of the band.

    "I'll go!" Odessa said, enthiusiastically.

"Ok. Next stop, you switch." I replied as I started putting the DVDs from my backpack into the little cupboard next to the T.V.

"With who?" She asked, already knowing the answer.
(Ryan's perspective)
My sidekick went off as I doggy piled Jon. As usual we were rough and rowdy.
((again. Ryan, ^^ Odessa))
^^ ' Everything set?
**' Yeah. We're switching you and him at the next stop.'
^^ ' Ok. Yeah, that's what she just said. This was such a great idea.'
** ' thank you. k see ya then.'
I erased the messages and closed my phone as Bden came over.

"So why am I switching? I'm not that bad." He said, sipping on yet another Capri Sun.

"You'll thank me later." I replied.

"Dude, face it. she's not into me."

"Oh yeah? I beg to differ. I saw her face when you guys were talking."

"Ok. But it wasn't the fan-girl stare, right?"

" No. She doesn't want to rip your shirt off for her life-sized Brenny-Bear doll." I replied, laughing.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I hope that this one wasn't as... boring? as the other one... :)

New To The Tour (Scene 7)

"What's going on?" Odessa asked as I walked through the door, Brendon close behind me.

"Well, when we were leaving he was recognized." I said half-jogging to my room to throw my guitar case on my bed. I started walking to the kitchen.

"Brendon, please make yourself at home." I half yelled from the fridge as I grabbed a Capri Sun for him and a water for me. It seemed that not even that would wake the guys up as I walked into the livingroom to see a confused Brendon and two lazy guys sprawled out on the couch. "Wake Up!" I said sharply as they shot up.

"Holy shit. Hey Brendon." Adam said, sitting up and shaking hands. "So what happened?"

"Horny teenage girls." I replied, passing Brendon his beloved drink, then leaning against the wall closest to the kitchen. "It might be safe to go back if you want."

"Well, they might have followed us." He said, a faux terrified look on his face. I smiled.

"Alright. Well, what do you guys want to do?" I asked as I took a sip of my water.

"Sleep." Adam said, apparently now in a coocoon of blankets.

"Brendon, why don't I give you a tour. It won't take more than three minutes." I said, getting up from the wall as he followed.

"Well obviously this is the livingroom slash bedroom for those bums. That is the kitchen, that is Odessa's room, the bathroom, and my room." I said as we walked around the small apartment, walking into all but the bathroom and my room. He seemed to notice my room the most. "You can come into my room, but you'll probably run away afterwards." I said, teasing as I opened the door. the only thing out of place really was the towel I was using. I quickly put it in the hamper. I walked over to one of my posters, a peace sign, and turned back to him. " So, what do you think?"

"I think, you are a hippy." He teased as he looked at my posters, then laughed as he saw the one on the back of my door. " I see that we were right about you." This he said with a smile.

"Well, what can I say? Amazing sound, cute boys, how can I resist?" I sat on my bed.

"Thank you for putting our sound before us." He said honestly. He never really liked when people put their looks before their music. We spent ten minutes talking about utter nonsense, then another twenty messing around on my guitar when I heard a soft knocking.

"Hey man, you ready?" Adam said, the big brother glare coming out.

"Yeah. I need to go warn the guys. Thank you so much for saving me from a sure rape. Text me later Nayra." He said, walking out of the room and apartment. Not even two minutes after they left, Odessa came into my room. I let her have it.

"Dude! What the fuck?!" I said, grabbing my phone and Mp3 out of my pocket and setting them up again on my table. The music started instantly, playing "Because".

"Well, you move slow, and you needed your case anyways, right? So there." She said, a guilty look on her face. I smiled and gave up.

"Well, I won't act like I didn't love hanging out with him. But please, next time let me do it."

    "Deal."

(Adam's Perspective)
I walked with Brendon down to the van. I really wanted to talk to him about the tour, and Nayra. Afterall, this is my baby sister.

"Hey Thanks man." Brendon said, climbing into the front seat.

"No problemo. So we leave in a couple of days." I said, as we pulled out of our usual spot.

"Yeah. They are decorating it as we speak." He said, looking foward.

"Alright, I'm sorry to ask, but she is my little sister." I added.

"I totally understand. She's really cool, but right now there really isn't anything going on between us. Just friends." He said, not moving an inch. I could tell he wanted more to happen. The rest of the trip was about the gist of the tour. We pulled up to the hotel, which seemed to be fan free. "Thanks again man. See ya in a few days."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
yay! Now I have a lesson for all the fangirls out there: " He never really liked when people put their looks before their music." dudes, it's totally true! lol So thank you for reading, and I will try to post the next installment tomorrow. :D

New To The Tour (Scene 6)

-Good Morning BALTIMORE!!
'Damn! Always at the good part! Oh well. I better get up and pack. Knowing the guys, there won't be room for last minute anything.' I thought as I awoke that morning. I grabbed my towel and headed for the bathroom, in hopes it would wake me up. When I got out, Odessa was waiting for me at the bathroom door, scaring the shit out of me.

"SHIT! Oh. Hey. Good morning. You seem, upbeat this morning." I said, my heart now beating faster as I walked back to my room to get dressed.

"That I am. So, you should get dressed, go pretty yourself up, and get some coffee." She said, throwing a pair of dark sailor jeans and a black halter top at my head, along with my make-up bag.

"What's wrong with our coffee maker?" I replied, putting the clothes on behind my little screen in my room. The last time the coffee maker broke, the boys were playing keep away, drunk.

"Nothing. I just really really want Starbucks." She said, sitting on my bed.

"Ok. But in that case, I need a few minutes. Why do I have to look pretty?" I said, walking out from behind my screen to grab my make-up bag.

"Because I said so. Besides, maybe you'll see a boy named Taylor there." She replied, giggling. Which is never a good sign.

"Fine." I said, dejected. I went to the bathroom and started doing my make-up, with plain lip gloss and minimal eyeliner as my choice.

"Oh! But you need to go to the one on Orville Street." She said, as if the others were the worst choices... EVER.

"Why? There's one down the street." I said, starting to realize something was really up.

"Oh, well, it won't be as busy, and they have better scones." She said, then went back into the livingroom before I could interject. Going into my room and grabbing my phone and music player, I walked into the livingroom to get the keys to my Green Beetle (which is going to be living at my parent's house for the time being).

"What do you want from there?" I said as I checked my hair, down this time and curly.

"I'll call you." She said, pushing me out the door. I started my car up, put my music on-the soundtrack to Across the Universe- and drove to the location suspiciously requested. I decided to walk in for mine and sit down while I waited for her call. I grabbed my player, locked my car, and walked in. The moment I walked to the counter, I heard my phone go off, showing a text from Brendon.
'You're early. :) I'm in the very back.'
Odessa was SO DEAD!
*'Alright. Let me order my drink and I'll be over there. Do you want anything?'
'No, I already got mine.'
I closed my phone and realized it was my turn to order. I just about lost it when I saw the boy's nametag. Taylor.

"May I have a Chai tea Latte? I promise not to sing the song." I said, smiling at him. He laughed as he rung me up. When I looked around, I saw what looked like Brendon, but he had covered his face and eyes with a hat and sunglasses.  I walked over to the table, then saw my guitar case peeking from behind his chair.

"Here you go." He said softly, handing it to me.

"Thanks. I can't believe I left it." I said, sitting down. I had a feeling this is what Odessa had in mind in the first place, and if not, then when he left, I would yell at her on the phone anyways. "I have a confession to make."

"You don't really like Nightmare? He said, a smile on his face.

"How?- No. I absolutely love it! I was pissed I missed it last night." I said, smiling back.

    "But didn't I tell-"

"That was Odessa. She means well, but..." I said, trying to look in his eyes, but was unsuccessful. Poor Guy.

"I see." He added, seeming put out. I've only known the guy a day and already I hate that tone in his voice.

"But I'm glad she did. I was going to text you anyways about hanging out." That seemed to lift his spirits.

"Me too. Well, It looked like you were in a hurry to go somewhere, so..." He said, trailing off a bit.

"Well, I was going to pack, but I'll do it later, unless you have somewhere you have to go." I said, trying not to blush. It seemed that Taylor the latte boy saw where I was sitting and who I was with, so he brought both of our drinks. After thanking him, I giggled as he left.

    "What?" Brendon asked.

"Nothing. Just a musical thing." I said, trying to compose myself.

"Was his name Taylor?" He asked, a small laugh seeming to peek out of his tone.

"Yes. No way. You know that song?" I asked, knowing I looked utterly suprised.

"Yeah. This girl on my YouTube account had the song up." He said, cooly. "What?"

"I'm just suprised. You don't strike me as that type." I said, taking a sip of my drink.

"Well it's the nerd in me. It pops out more with that kind of stuff."

"You're not nerdy. Ok. Maybe a little." I said, stifling a laugh as he made a rediculous face. He started laughing.

"Well , what do you say we blow this joint?" He said in a faux jazz gangter voice as he stretched. Unfortunately that was the time that a girl decided to turn around to see who was getting up (clad in her Panic band shirt) and scream his name at the top of her lungs. "Fuck!" He said, grabbing my hand as I grabbed my case and ran out the door.

"Get In!" I said, unlocking my doors, jumping in. He followed suit, just before the girls actually came out. The tires squealed a bit as I pulled out of the parking lot. "Oh my god. I am so sorry."

"It's totally fine. Although I really do hate when they act like that. I don't think going to the hotel is an option right now." He said as we got to a stoplight.

"Ok. My place then?" I said, checking to see if any of the crazed fangirls were actually following us. It seemed we were lucky.

"Taking things fast are we?" Brendon teased, which seemed to ease the tension.

"Oh yes. I so want you. Hey, will you put some music on?" I said, laughing and passing him my music player.

"Ok." He said, as he flipped through my songs. " Wow. You really are a nerd."

"Shut up." I said, teasingly. It seemed he liked my original choice.

"Hey, not to be rude, but do you have anything to drink at your house? I kinda left my drink." He said, making odd dancing gestures to the music.

"I think we have some Capri Suns in the fridge." I said, hoping that it was common knowledge that he liked them. Apparently the fact that I had them canceled out the entire question as a huge smile crossed his face.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey guys! Sorry this took so long. So as usual, tell me what you think :D
and if you have a questions for me, about the story or anything, just let me know.

New to the Tour (Scene 5)

This time I was in a beautiful garden drinking tea, my bright yellow sundress seeming to glow. A butterfly passed by my little table as I drank my sweet tea. The sun itself was high in the sky, but you couldn't really tell through the thick branches of the tree behind me. A little ways away I heard a rustling in a nearby set of bushes. I turned my head to see what made the noise, but was unsuccessful. I decided to move to it, in hopes of catching what made the noise.  This is why I loved being barefoot.

When I reached the bush, he popped out, dressed in a magnificent blue shirt and jeans, but looked like death eating a cracker. All I could do for a moment was stare at him, his eyes doing the same.

"What's your name?" He asked, staring in wonder.

"Nayra. But they call me Sun." I replied, an equal amount of wonder showing through my eyes.

"Brendon. But they call me Moon." He said, coming closer. "Would it be alright if we just sat and talked for a little while? In exchange for your time, I'll give you this smile." He said, pulling out a yellow daisy.

"That's ok. As long as you can make a promise not to break my little heart and leave me all alone, in the summer." I said, looking down, then back at him.

"Alright." Brendon replied, coming closer to my face, then kissed me.

(Brendon's dream)

Walking around Halloweentown is fun! But I know I'm here to find something. Something other than Christmas. I started to walk through the pumpkin patch, where I met Ryan. But I could tell he wasn't what I was looking for. He followed me to the vampires tomb, where Spence and Jon were, but they didn't seem to be what I needed. Together, we walked throughout the forest, the lakes, the hill, and found nothing. Until we went to Dr. Finklestein's, where Sally was. Where Nayra was. When I looked around me, the guys and Halloweentown dissappeared, soon replaced with a garden, like the one from that love song we wrote. It seemed I was the moon, and she was my sun. I leaned foward and kissed her in joy.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, what do you think of their dreams? This is all I'm putting for now. and I'm only like 4 pages into my awesomeness. :D

New to the Tour (Panic At The Disco) scene 4 *Updated!*

Foward Note: Hey Guys! So I've been hand writing up a storm for this fan fic... and since I'm up to about 15 pages and scene 10, I thought I'd share them with you guys! So read on!
ps,
Answer me this question:
What do you think should happen with any of the characters? any pair ups? And any predictions of what should happen on the tour. :D
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The ride home was actually worse than the ride up. I didn't think it was physically possible, but it was.

"So Nayra, when's the wedding?" Odessa cooed as we piled into the van. I smacked her arm playfully.

"Shut up. He's really cool." I said, a bit off in space.

"Yes. I noticed he didn't pipe up during our significant others conversation. Am I to take it that he does not have a significant other?" Adam said, starting the van. I knew there was a reason for that damn conversation!

"No, and I'm sure he doesn't want one either." I said, a bit defensive. Ben yawned a bit, snuggling into the back seat for a quick nap on the way home.

"Hey Nayra, check to see if I'm ok." Adam said, looking in his side view mirrors. I looked behind the car for other cars in the path of our boat of a vehicle.

"You're fine." I said, about to turn around, until I noticed my guitar. Caseless. "Fuck."

"What's up?" Odessa asked from the front seat.

"Urgh. I left my case in there. Damnit!" I said, then smiled.

"What?" Odessa said, now staring at me. Grabbing my phone and opening it, the little piece of paper fell into my lap. quickly opening it, I started to text.

*'Hey This is Nayra. Did I by chance leave my guitar case in your room?'
Not even a second later, I heard Brendon's voice informing me of a text.
'Oh hello again. Is it the one with the craploads of patches and writing on it?'
*'Yeah. Crap. Sorry about that.'
'It's fine. We can be a bit confusing. I can bring it to you tomorrow, or you can come get it. Are you guys still here?'
*'No we just hit the highway home.'
'Damn. Well, maybe we can meet somewhere, or I can hold onto it until we leave.'
*'Well I feel bad making you guys hold onto it, so we can meet somewhere.'
'Well we can figure that out tomorrow. Hey, are they making fun of you on that side too?'
I laughed, which caused apparently quite a stir in the car.
"Who are you texting?" Odessa asked, trying to steal my phone. I hid it behind my back.

"No one." I replied, trying to sound innocent.

"Could it be, Brendon?" Adam said, laughing.

"Yes. Yes it is. I was just asking him if he had the case."

"Oh...right..." Ben said, apparently having awoken to torment me. I texted him back.
*'Relentlessly. I'm sorry.'
'Why do you apologize so much? Seriously.'
*'Old habit.'
'Ah. well. That will need to stop.'
*'ok. What are they saying on your side?'
(Back at the hotel. Brendon's perspective.)
They haven't been gone for longer than ten minutes, and I'm already getting crap for it.

"So, what about that chick, eh Bden?" Ryan said, nudging my arm.

"She's cool." I said playing it off. Right now, that's really what it was. "Seriously." I pulled out my sidekick as it went off.

*'ok. What are they saying on your side?'
"Ooh! It's her isn't it?" Spencer said, trying to grab the phone.

"No. It's yo mama." I responded playfully.

"What are you guys talking about?" Jon asked, moving to the mini fridge and grabbing a coke.

"She left her case here." I replied, trying to leave it at that. But apparently they didn't buy it.

"Oh so it WAS her!" Ryan said, pulling a 'wink wink nudge nudge'. I tried to ignore it, but when I heard Jon and Spencer laughing, I turned around to see Ryan and Zack making certain gestures behind me.
                                                                 'You don't wanna know.'
(Nayra:Van)
"Are you two making plans or something?" Odessa asked, successfully grabbing the phone as I laughed at his last text. "Oh, I am so texing him back."

"No!" But it seemed I was too late. "What the hell did you tell him?!"

          "Oh. Nothing."Odessa replied.

"Lies! May I please have my phone back?" I pleaded, groaning. Odessa meant well when she played cupid, but her tatics weren't the best in the world.

"Nope. I think I'll have a chat with him." She said, smiling.

" *sigh* Fine. But at least tell him it's you." I said, sinking back into my seat. This was usually a losing battle.
(Back to Brendon)
"So are you going to see her before we leave?" Ryan asked, taking his shirt off and crawling into the bed closest to the window. We usually shared a room together, Jon and Spence in another room, and Zack by himself when we went on tour. They left a few minutes after Stand Tall did.

"Possibly. But just to give her case back." I replied from the couch. I will admit, I was excited to see her again. I felt my sidekick vibrate in my pocket.
*' That sucks. So what are you doing?'

'I'm about to watch a movie'

                                                                     *'Awesome! I love movies'

                                                                         'Cool. Which ones?'

                                                                   *'Bloody, Gory, Musicals lol'

'lol What's one of your favorites?'

                                                               *'Nightmare Before Christmas'

'Awesome! I'm about to watch that right now! It's on Disney Channel!'

                                                                               *'Awesome!'

'Yeah. So do you want to meet tomorrow so I can give you your case?'

*'Sure. You know that Starbucks across the street from your hotel?'

'Yeah. Do you want to meet there around 9?'

*'Sure! Well, have fun with your movie! Goodnight!'

                                                                           'I will. Night!'

I threw my phone onto the table and settled in to watch my movie, smiling.

(Odessa: Van)
I closed Nayra's phone. Ok, so I didn't say it was me. Big Deal. She'll thank me later. I hate seeing her alone. I turned to give her her phone.

(Nayra: Van)
Grabbing my phone I opened it to see the incoming and outcoming messages, but groaned. She erased them. As the car came to a stop in front of the apartment building, I yawned and grabbed my guitar.
"So what did you guys talk about?" I asked as we all walked slowly into the front doors.

"Oh. Just your bad habits. Like painting your toes in the kitchen." Odessa teased.

"Hey. That was one time. Besides, I know you are full of shit." I replied. We walked to our elevator, then to our apartment. The minute we opened the door, the guys threw themselves on the couches. I walked to my room, Odessa following.

"So are you going to see him before the tour?" She asked, sitting on my bed.

"Well I have to get my case from him." I replied, setting my guitar beside me as I sat next to her.

"And then what? Come on, you totally like him."

"Thanks for the breaking news Captain Obvious. But that doesn't automatically mean he likes me." I said, a little put out. I still feel like the crazed fan girl rather than the lead in the band touring with him.

"Oh, I'm sure that will change." She said, walking out of the room.

I got up and changed into my pajamas, then sat back down to play my guitar. I strummed a few notes of a panic song, but was disrupted by the groans coming from the livingroom. I laughed, and went to shut my door, to spare them. Going back to my bed, I stared out the window as I sang Northern Downpour, until I felt I was too tired to go on.

Just F.Y.I

So if you have read my journals, then I have news to tell you: I have added a bit on the last post, right after the duet, so take a look at it so that the next part (coming soon) will make a bit of sense, and so you aren't like "OMG I thought that she was still with them, but now she's where? omg." lol. Not that any of you guys sound like that. And if you do, then awesomness because sometimes... I am like that too :D

Thank you so much for reading it! Please tell your friends about it!

xoxo

Ps,
I won't be able to post a new scene for New To The Tour during the upcoming week as I am going out of town. But don't fret, I shall be back with an awesome idea for what will happen next. :)

New to the Tour (Panic At The Disco) scene 3 part 2

I shifted my weight a little so that I could face him properly. Up until now, I was at an odd angle where he wouldn't be able to see my full expression.

"What should I sing?" He said, resting his hand on the strings of his guitar.

"Ooh! That one! that's only like a minute long!" Jon replied, stretching a bit.

"Ok. You might know this one Nayra." Brendon said, then began to play. Instantly I started smiling. It was actually one of my favorite songs off of their CD that had been out for no longer than a month. I already had a great deal of them memorized, and some actually harmonized. I told you I was a nerd, right? Brendon, seeing my enthusiasm, laughed during the first couple of lines:
you remind me of a former love that I once knew
And you carry a little speech with you
We were holding hands walking through the middle of the street
It's fine with me, I'm just taking in the scenery

You remind me of a few of my famous friends
Well, that all depends what you qualify as friends
You remind me of a few of my famous friends
Well, that all depends what you qualify as friends

Take a chance, take your shoes off, dance in the rain
And I was flashing around and the news spread all over town
I'm not complaining that it's raining, I'm just saying that I like it a lot
More than you think, if the sun would come out and sing with me

You remind me of a few of my famous friends
Well, that all depends what you qualify as friends
You remind me of a few of my famous friends
Well, that all depends what you qualify as friends

Finishing the song, everyone clapped. I tried to act like I wasn't completely blown away. He smiled again and kept his guitar on his lap.

"That was amazing." I said, trying to sound cool. Which, as usual, didn't work.

He laughed. "Thank you. You as well."

"What was that one called?" Odessa asked.

"I have friends in holy spaces." Brendon and I said, almost in unison. I smiled. "Sorry."

"It's alright. I'm glad you like that song. I actually wrote it." He said, looking into my eyes. I looked away.

"I know. You did an awesome job. Ryan too!" I said, hoping to hide my stupid celebrity crush. It seemed to work, well that and Ryan replying.

"Thank you! So you've heard the new CD?" Ryan added, with the entire group now looking at us.

"She almost has it memorized." Adam said in an almost stage whisper. I glared at him.

"Oh really?" Brendon said, looking not creeped out, but intrigued.

"In fact, she's made a duet with one of your songs." Odessa added quickly. She gave me a mischevious smile.

"I'd love to hear it. Which one?" Ryan said, scooching a bit in his seat.

"When the Day Met the Night." I said timidly. I had in fact made a duet version, but I really didn't want to share how it went. Especially to the band that actually wrote it.

"Well, let's hear it." Brendon said with a reassuring smile, and grabbing his guitar.

"Alright. Well, it's kind of as if the sun and the moon were telling the story together." I said, preparing for the worst.

"Ok. Let's try it." He said, then saw the almost fear in my eyes. "Come on, it'll be fun." Then he strummed his guitar once more.
Brendon:    When the moon fell in love with the sun
All was golden in the sky
Together: All was golden when the day met the night

Nayra: When the sun found the moon
She was drinking tea in a garden
Under the green umbrella trees
In the middle of summer

Brendon:When the moon found the sun
He looked like he was barely hanging on
But her eyes saved his life
In the middle of summer (summer)

Together (with harmony):In the middle of summer
All was golden in the sky
All was golden when the day met the night
Summer (summer)
All was golden in the sky
All was golden when the day met the night
Summer, summer, summer, summer
All was golden when the day met the night

Brendon: So he said, "Would it be all right
If we just sat and talked for a little while
If in exchange for your time
I give you this smile?"

Nayra: So she said, "That's okay
As long as you can make a promise
Not to break my little heart
Or leave me all alone in the summer."

Together with harmony: Well he was just hanging around
Then he fell in love
And he didn't know how
But he couldn't get out
Just hanging around
Then he fell in love

In the middle of summer
All was golden in the sky
All was golden when the day met the night
Summer
All was golden in the sky
All was golden when the day met the night
Summer, summer, summer, summer
When the moon fell in love with the sun
All was golden in the sky
Brendon: All was golden when the day met the night

We finished the song with everyone staring at us. Mostly because throughout the whole song, we stared at eachother. Only when the song was over did I look away at the group. "What?" I said, now looking at the rest of them, avoiding Brendon's eyes.

"Nothing. You guys just... sound really good together. " Spencer said, smiling a bit. It was one of the first times he actually spoke throughout the night.

"Yeah." Odessa said, a wide smile playing on her face. I smiled back, but knew exactly what I was going to say to her the minute we got in the car.

"That really was amazing." Ryan said, then looked at his phone. "Oh wow guys, it's getting super late. I think we should discuss how the tour will go and get some rest."

"Yeah. Definately." I said, now looking at my skirt, playing with the little record on it.

"Alright. So what's going to happen is we leave in a couple of days, and head to the first stop, which I believe is Aneheim. From there we go cross country. You guys are opening for us, and I'm thinking of maybe doing something with you, Nayra, and Brendon for that song. It was really amazing. But I'm not sure yet. As for the minor details, we can deal with those on the plane. But for now, go get some rest, pack, practice, whatever you guys want to do and we'll contact you guys tomorrow, ok?" Ryan said, starting to stand up. The rest of us followed suit. I slung the strap of my guitar over my shoulder.
"That works for us. Night guys!" I said, starting to walk out of the livingroom with the rest of my band. I felt a small tug on my elbow and turned to see Brendon. "Yes?"

"Here." He said, passing me a small piece of paper. "Text me, and we'll all hang out before we officially kick off the tour."

"Ok. I'll do that." I replied, smiling, then walking out the door. "Bye Zack!"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Haha. Ok so I cheated. Twice. And the duet? well If I can figure it out, I will actually make a video with the duet, and see if I can make it sound like Brendon and "Nayra" are singing. it'll be hard. But fun. So tell me what you think so far!!

New to the Tour (Panic At The Disco) scene 3 part 1

If I hadn't seen these guys in a hundred videos on YouTube, I would have thought that they were just a bunch of band nerds. Ryan sat in a big red chair on the side of the room facing away from the window that stood open, wearing a black jacket over a plain gray t-shirt and jeans, his hair a bit messy. Jon was sprawled on one of the couches playing a video game on the T.V., his black hoodie and black and white striped shirt riding up a bit as if we scooched a bit on the couch closest to us. Spencer was in the chair at a small table, reading a magazine. He wore fairly normal clothes: a black t-shirt and jeans. The last was Brendon, who was sprawled on the couch farthest from our group, his red shirt not exactly reaching his dark blue jeans, so a hint of ab was showing. I looked down.

"Guys, this is Stand Tall." Zach said as the guys all stood up and straightened their clothes.

"Hey! Nice to meet you guys." Brendon said, going around to give everyone a welcoming handshake. Since I was the last one in, I was the last to shake his hand. "Ok, I'm Brendon, That's Spencer, Jon, and Ryan. You've already met Zack." he said walking back to his group and pointing to the respectable people as he introduced them. They all waved as their name was called. My band looked at me, expecting me to introduce everyone. I really regretted my outfit a bit now.

"I'm Nayra, this is my brother Adam, his friend Ben, and my friend Odessa." I said, looking at them instead of Brendon. I couldn't look at him without giggling a bit. "Thank you so much for this." I said, finally looking at him, smiling.

"We're really glad you guys decided to go on tour with us. Please, have a seat." Ryan said, sitting back down. Everyone followed. The members of Stand Tall sat on one couch as the members of Panic sat on the other.

"Thank you." I said as we sat down.

"I say, since we are trying to get to know eachother, we sit together, like mix up the bands." Odessa said, a hint of mischief in her eyes. I knew what she was playing at.

"Sounds cool to me." Brendon replied, smiling.  He  and Jon got up and switched places with Adam, who was on my right, and Odessa who was at the far end. The end formation was me and Brendon on the couch nearest the living room entrance, Ben in a chair schooched up to join our little circle, Spencer in the other chair, and Ryan and Odessa on the other couch. The conversations started quickly after that. I sat pretty quiet, watching everyone start to get a little more comfortable in their skins. "Alright then. Tell me about yourself. " Brendon said, shifting his weight towards me.

"Well, I'm 20, I just finished my first year of college, and I really love music." I said, trying to play it cool, only because I had butterflies in my stomache. This was the first band that I actually talked to, in person.

"What did you study in college?" He said, seeming honestly interested.

"Music and theater. I'm a nerd." I said, before I could stop myself.

"A nerd eh? Me too! What kind of music are you into?"

"Everything but rap." He laughed at that one.

"So... Can I assume that you like our band?"

"Yeah, I do. You guys rock!" I said, a little bit too enthused. He apparently didn't notice.

"Thanks! I'm glad you liked it." He said, then started to turn his head at the sound of his name being called by Ryan, who was laughing. "What's so funny?"

"Oh, I was just telling them about all the crazy things we've pulled on eachother." Ryan said, then continued into an entire detailed version of every prank they pulled, from water guns to shaving cream. The conversation went on like this for quite a bit, until it came to that conversation. Relationships. I always hated this part, mostly because I usually had nothing to say about a boyfriend, since I hadn't had one in a few months, and even then, the guy wasn't the best example of a boyfriend in the first place. I listened intently to the cute stories of Ryan and Keltie, Spencer and Haley, and Jon and Cassie. Then it was the sweet stories I had witnessed with my brother's girlfriend Anna, Odessa's boyfriend Harlon, and Ben's girlfriend Sarah.

"I remember this time when me and Harlon were at the duck pond for Valentine's Day..." Odessa went on, while Brendon looked at me.
"You don't have to be Shy Nayra. Jump on in." He said quietly as Odessa went into detail about how Harlon had carved her name and his in a tree.

"I would if I had anything to tell." I said, smiling a bit. I was always a bit embarrassed when it came to these conversations, and up until now, I never had to actually deal with answering why I didn't contribute.

"Nothing? Don't worry. I don't either." He said, smiling. I opened my mouth a bit as if to say something, but was interrupted by the sound of infectuous laughter.

"Ok. I think that we should move onto a new subject as it seems that not all of us are really into it." Ryan said, laughing at looking at me and Brendon.

"I say that our newest members of the tour should sing us a song." Spencer said as everyone agreed. Brendon got up and grabbed my guitar from where Adam had set it a few hours ago. " And in return I say that Brendon sings them a song."

"And why just me?" Brendon replied, a teasing tone popping up.

"Becuase ye who doesn't have a girlfriend has to serenade the new band." Ryan said, laughing.

"You guys suck." He said with a smile on his face. "Ok, but that means Nayra has to start first."

I smiled, then strummed my guitar, beginning what was going to be the first song for the tour:
It feels so weird not being distracted
      Not being attracted
Having to be me for me
     It's almost Scary
My heart beats to live, not for "him"
      not being drowned by love
      I've learned to swim
I still flit back to you
But not because I miss you

         I've changed so much
          Immune to touch
       Without this love
        To call my own
          I see it clearly
        Through this broken glass
       I'm whole
        Without a breaking pass

Upon ending the song, I looked at Brendon, who smiled at me.

"My turn." He said, running to grab his guitar.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok. So the song that Nayra sings, yeah I wrote it. and it's not actually finished. but I think that it's cool for her character. Besides this was getting to be too long and gushy, so I need to think of an awesome way for this to go. :)

New to the Tour (Panic At The Disco) scene 2

We arrived at the hotel that Panic was staying at with about ten minutes to spare. On the way, I heard non-stop jokes about our meeting, my outfit, until they decided that it was no longer that big of a deal.

"Are you sure we need to bring the instruments in?" Odessa asked me, grabbing her hot pink and black bass in it's matching case.

"Um, I'm not sure. I've never done this either. Adam, you call them." I said, grabbing my black acoustic guitar. I only played a bit, but only for a song or two during out performances. Right now it was in my soft black case that had over 20 patches on it.

"Oh no. You have to call them. I don't have their number." He said, sitting on the bumper of the van. I threw him my  green EnV.

"Now you do."  I said, laughing. "Besides, I can't talk to them right now."

"Because the minute Brendon picks up the phone, she'll faint!" Odessa said, not looking at me but laughing.

"This isn't going to stop anytime soon, will it?"  I said, sighing.

"Nope. But we won't embarrass you in front of him. I promise." She said, then sat next to Adam on the bumper.

"Urgh. Fine." Adam said, opening my phone and looking for the number. "Is it under 'lover boy'?"

"Oh My God. No, it's not. It's under the R's. It's Ryan's number. That's what their producer gave me." I said, feeling a blush coming on. Adam laughed and put the phone to his ear. "Where's Ben?"

"Right here!" I heard from the backseat of the car.

"What are you doing?" I asked walking towards him. He was sitting, still buckled in, playing a game on his phone.

"Beating my high score on Pac Man." He said, not really paying attention to me, but instead tilting his phone as if it made any difference.

"Ok then." I said, walking away.

"Hello. Is this Mr. Ross? No, this is her brother, Adam. Yeah I'm the guitarist. Well we're here, but we need to know if you want us to bring anything up? Yeah, we brought them. No? ok, that's cool. Ok. Oh? alright. We can do that. We'll see you in a few minutes. Room 811? Ok. Thank you! Bye. " He said, then hung up. "No instruments, except for a guitar. They just want to hang out to get to know us, tell us about the tour a bit, then make plans."

"Alright. Then, I guess we can take mine. Since it's already out." I said as Odessa put hers back in the van. "Hold on a bit!" I ran to the front seat, grabbed my purse, then locked the doors. "Ok let's go."

Walking into the front door was pretty intimidating, considering everyone seemed to be dressed to the nines and older than us. We were barely out of our first year of college, and dressed like we just came back from Warped Tour, and a hop. The hotel itself was pristine and gleaming, mostly because everything had either glass on it or metal. Walking to the stainless steel elevator, people stared and whispered as the doors opened and we walked in. Even the elevator operator gave us a look as we asked to go the the 8th floor. I merely smiled at him as we got off. Walking in an almost Wizard of Oz formation, we arrived at door 811.

"I called, you knock." Adam said, taking my guitar out of my hands and pushing me towards the dark wood door. I knocked softly. No answer. "Don't be shy. Knock louder!" He whispered. I knocked again, a little louder.

"We don't want our room cleaned today!" I heard someone on the other side say. It sounded like Brendon Urie, but I couldn't be sure.

"It's not room service. I'm Nayra, from Stand Tall?" I said, feeling stupid. The door swung open, and a tall bigger guy stood in the doorway.

"Follow me. I'm Zack, the guys body guard." He said, leading us in the door. He was intimidating looking, his muscles huge and seeming to want to escape the black shirt he was wearing. We followed him into the livingroom, where they were waiting for us.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok That's all for today. I can't think of anything else. So please, tell all your friends about it! even if it sucks! I need constructive critisism. and I know the last one said they'd be in it, but I felt like this was the right place to stop this "scene".

New to the Tour (Panic At The Disco) scene 1

I couldn’t bear it any longer.  That sweet angelic voice of his drove me mad every time I heard it, and tonight was no different. He’s only been working here a few nights and I’m already having these thoughts. I sat down at the bar of our underground Strip Joint, staring at him sing, secretly hoping for him to see me. The room around us was red and black, with private tables- for the shy gentlemen who claim they wouldn't ever be caught dead in this place, and among them were the sweethearts of the underworld. We all usually played a small part, be it the sweet young virgin like the one messing with a gentleman's tie as she came closer on his table, to the sexy viper making another man at a private table sweat a bit. The band played in the middle of the lust filled air on a small stage that held them and a couple of dancers.

It seemed luck was on my side, because the moment I thought of him, he met my gaze-and didn't let it go for a bit. I stared intently into those deep brown eyes until I couldn't help but smile at him. Stepping off stage, he sat near me at the long and semi-dingy bar. I was never one for conversations with men really, especially here, where my uniform was my long black hair curly, down, and a red feather in my hair, make-up done carefully but eccentrically, black and red corset with matching fishnets, "baby dolls" and tootoo, and the most important thing here: a mask. (Mine matched my outfit) One simple smile and gesture of the hand from me seemed to get his attention to follow me to the seduction room.

This room was usually only for "high paying customers and performers" but if it was empty, then it was fair game to anyone. I led the way, only because I knew that the singer wouldn't know where it really was. No one has taken him in there for the traditional "welcome", I made sure of it. He smiled at me. The room itself was pretty bare, the walls a dull white, but it had a spectacular view (if you actually opened the blood red curtains to see it), a single chair, and a pole on the side of the room.

"What's your name?" I said, my hand running up and down his shirt. He also wore a type of uniform, although with his, you were bound to stay warm if by chance the feds came and took you away. He had on a tuxedo shirt, suspenders, and tuxedo pants, his black hair slicked back. Just the way I preferred my men: clean cut.

"Brendon, doll face." He said, seemingly getting excited about what was to come next. The band no doubt has told him what was to come. They had been there a while before Brendon showed up, so they already had their happy welcoming.  So, without further adeu, I shoved him into the chair in the middle of the room, now performing the age old ritual of a lap dance. The only difference with this is I actually enjoyed it. I arched my back in a way that my head was at his ear.

"Am I exactly where you like me?" I said seductively, my hands on his legs for support. He turned me towards him, his eyes peeking out of his music painted mask. He leaned in, his lips touching mine... He started to reach for-

"GOOD MORNING BALTIMORE! EVERYDAY'S LIKE AN OPEN DOOR!!!" I heard my alarm sing at the top of IT'S lungs. I couldn't believe it was only a dream. I shoved the tye dye blankets up over my head in attempt to get my dream back, but it seemed it was of no use. It didn't help much that I had the sound of laughing and boys yelling at me. I looked around a bit. I was in the apartment that me and my friend shared. It wasn't really that big, but up until now, It was perfect for two. But after the band actually got in touch with a recording company, it became a bit crowded. My room was fairly cluttered, with multiple posters on the walls to hide the lame white paint. My dresser was also cluttered, but with my make-up, perfume, and multiple other "girly" things. I threw my phone back onto my nightstand, where it immediately hit my Mp3 player with a small clank.

"Nayra! Wake up dude! Don't you remember what today is?" My brother, Adam said walking into my room as the others continued to laugh outside my door. He's your typical emo boy, complete with black hair in surrounding his tan face and blue eyes, tall and gangly, and dressed accordingly. Most people can't really tell that he's my older brother.Adam and I are the leads in our band, Stand Tall. The others, Ben (drums), and my roommate, Odessa (bass), are friends of ours.I'm lead and Adam is... well you get the picture. I grabbed my phone again, opened it to look at the date, my eyes still full of sleep.

"Oh my god. It's-It's" I said, stunned at the date: April 28th. The day I was supposed to meet the band we were touring with. Panic At The Disco.

"It's time to get ready is what it is. Hurry, we haven't got all day!" He said, laughing. He knew how I felt about the band. He walked out of the room, shaking his head.

I sat up quickly and walked to my closet. I never knew what to wear. Which is the reason for Adam's comment. I stared at the clothes in front of me. I had a Panic at The Disco band tee, but that would be too embarrassing... perhaps that cute  red sundress? No. maybe not. It's a bit cold for sundresses. I settled on a fun outfit: a modernized black poodle skirt with records on it, a matching top, and my black low top converse. Quickly getting dressed, I ran to the bathroom before the guys could, and locked the door. I stared at the girl in front me in the mirror. My green eyes still full of sleep, but smiling behind my pretty tan lids. I was not a twig by anyone's standards, but a curvy woman. Most people thought I was 23, when in fact, I was barely 20. I sighed, opened the medicine cabinet door, grabbed my stuff,  and proceeded to put on my make-up: sweet and pretty eyes with only a thin line of liner, lip gloss, and my foundation. I looked in the cabinet again and found a fun pair of false eyelashes. 'what the hell?' I thought to myself as I put them on. The finishing touch was my hair. Following my theme, I put it up in a high ponytail, and put a red bow in it. "Alright! I'm ready!!" I sang as I walked out of the bathroom. Everyone laughed. "What the hell?!"

"We're not going to a hop you know!" Adam said, laughing. I smacked him arm hard.

    "Shut up!" I said teasingly.

"Do we have to dress accordingly?" Ben said, hiding behind Odessa, who was laughing too hard at Ben to really say anything. Ben was actually a bit more creative about his emo side, having an actual green mohawk, which matched his eyes. He was pretty muscular and a few inches taller than me. His attire usually matched his mood. Today was a skull shirt and baggy jeans day, so I guess that means he's not in the best of moods.

"Yes." I said sarcastically. "No. My god. Ok, get ready I want to be early for this thing."

"Yes, so she can meet Breeenndooon!" Odessa teased, finally catching her breath. She nudged me playfully as they all "ooh"ed at me. Odessa was, in my opinion, gorgeous. She was a pretty pale with piercing blue eyes. She leaned more towards the punk princess with her hot pink streaks in her brown hair, and her outfits usually were just as shocking. However, today was apparently a normal day for her in her black mini skirt and hot pink slim tee.

"Haha. Very Funny. Now hurry!" I said, putting my hands on my hips, trying to act cool, but to no avail. I was a nerd through and through. It took everyone about 20 minutes to get ready, with showering and primping-even the men-. In this time I took out my phone and started to play Guitar Hero.

"Ready!" I heard three times, and we walked out the door to the van, instruments in hand. It wasn't the prettiest thing in the world, but it got us from A to B when we needed to. We piled in with Adam driving, and rode off.

Hello. Welcome to my awesome brain! Alright. Get to it. Tell me what you think. If you really think it's lame... then I am sorry for you. Because I will more than likely keep writing until I run out of steam. :) As for the "Scene" thing, I'm doing it this way, because it's not really a chapter. It's the different places. some might be put into one post so that I don't have a million Journal entries ^.^ so the next one is coming up with the guests of honor! woot! ok bye!
